The Fort Atkinson freezer yields ten gallons per fifteen minutes, bricks are produced, and the plant also makes two tons of ice daily with three ton capacity, using clean ammonia freezing and zero water contact.

Disabled Servicemen in Training for New Jobs
The U S civil service commission says the rehabilitation branch of the federal board of vocational education has about 50 000 disabled veterans in training to become self supporting again. Many study in commercial trade and agricultural schools with supervision needed from qualified training assistants. Initial salaries up to 2400 a year offered. education at least high school level plus two years college or normal school and at least one year teaching or relevant experience or service as an armed forces officer. The four year old Bobette Harlan daughter of Mr and Mrs Kenneth Harlan of Walla Walla died July 3 of diphtheria and was buried in a graveside service July 10 at Rice due to illness. Attending were relatives from Lewiston Colfax Orient Spokane and Portland with local clergy Rev John M Huggins. Mrs Harlan formerly Ruth Ledgerwood.
