A free right of way from Spokane through northern Spokane County to Loon Lake is offered to any backed entity to build and operate an electric railroad. The deal includes stock contributions by local residents and donations of labor poles and ties, with Spokane & Inland Empire Railway Company and Washington Water Power Company both weighing the proposal. The plan traces the route of the old Spokane Falls & Northern line from Spokane to Deer Park, via Dartford Wayside Hazzard Williams Valley and Clayton, with eventual extension to Deer Park.
