Washington recorded the highest progressive vote percentage with both republican and progressive electors on the ballot amid a total 322,799 in 1912 versus 188,879 in 1908. Republicans fell 35,000, Democrats rose 28,000, Socialists up 26,000, Prohibition up 5,000, while progressives led by 26,000.
The meeting notes 661 members in good standing making it the largest Pomon grange in the northwest. Reports from many granges praise progress, new halls, cooperative ventures and strong attendance in places such as Boyd s Summit Valley and White Lake. The group endorses the Page Vocational Education Bill and plans to send copies to congressional representatives.
