Stevens county Democrats pick delegates for state convention
The Stevens county Democratic convention met in Colville with delegates named to attend the state gathering. John G. Kulzer chaired, A V Downs was secretary, and a resolutions committee urged close party unity and direct legislation while opposing state road laws. A list of 71 accredited votes elected delegates from Chewelah to Newport, plus notes on local option politics and civic projects.
