Colville advances a record 1920 building year with 160000 spent as the city lets Triangle Construction Co. two street contracts totaling 54391 for cement paving on First avenue to the depot and for cement sidewalks in residence districts. The Great Northern will finish depot area paving. eight miles of cement walks planned.

Eightyearold loses steam wagon in city prank

A Colville youth Carl Belknap age eight lent his red steam wagon with bent rear axle for a brief coast ride on Main street. He has not seen the wagon nor received the promised five cents and seeks its return without payment. The borrower’s identity and location are unknown.
