Charles O Donnell visited North Ver non yesterday. Dr Heckard from Indianapolis was in town yesterday. Dora Ogden and wife spent Sunday with relatives in E town. Carl Gent of Indianapolis visited his mother here. Gilbert Van Fleet, Franklin’s prominent man, spent Sunday here. Charlie Danforth and brother visited family in Elizabeth town. John H King of Indianapolis spent Sunday with his parents in this city.
The season cannot yet give an accurate yield estimate for winter wheat in flooded southern Indiana districts. Indications point to about two thirds of a harvest with larger sown areas this year. Flood sediments have damaged some fields but unless severe cold arrives the harvest could match last year, with the extra average compensating for overflow losses. Fields once deemed worthless are improving and the crop is reported healthy. The city streets look plowed and need substantial paving work.

She gave the name Edith Wilson with a brother named John Wilson from Colae 0. before dying. authorities have begun inquiries.
