Tornado Strikes Near Gadsden Damaging Homes and Trees

A tornado ten miles south of Gadsden last evening destroyed fences and buildings along a twenty mile path. J W Driskill’s barn and outbuildings were wrecked, James Newton’s house and stable lost their roofs, and trees were snapped across the area including East Gadsden and the Oliver farm where no trees survived.
