Court clarifies three points on attorney fees in note collections. A note with attorney’s fees requires tender including those fees. Questions not raised in time cannot be reheard. Fees become collectible after the note is placed with an attorney for collection if unpaid at maturity.
The official vote totals show McKinley with 7 101 401 ballots and Bryan with 6 470 656 plus smaller tallies for Palmer Levering. McKinley carried 23 states including California Illinois Ohio New York and Massachusetts while Bryan carried 22 states such as Texas Utah Georgia and North Carolina.

Judge Buckingham orders the courthouse jury room supplied with blankets and cots and allows an all night surge to ease jury discomfort. The move is described as humane and a corrective to old methods that caused health issues and even death in a county case. Franklin Star reports.
