The south bound No. 10 due at 4.40 am was over four hours late yesterday after a freight wreck near Tipton caused a broken rail. The wreck delayed the Chicago through train as well, which did not arrive until ten last night after traveling from Franklin to Columbus. Details of the wreck were not learned.
John Crump of Columbus plans a free, open museum of old soldiers relics in the east room of the opera house block. Curios will be shown in glass cases with a keeper to explain exhibits. donations and relics are welcomed to create a lasting monument endorsed by the Star.

Late Thursday evening Harry Sims son of Joshua Sims three miles east of the city was thrown from a horse while driving cattle to shelter. The horse slipped. Sims suffered a badly sprained foot and multiple bruises but no bones were broken.
