The ad promotes a toilet preparation claiming antizimodic properties that cures chappe and pimples and keeps skin clear, smooth and elastic. Sold in 25c bottles by Ernest Stahihuth & Co Druggists in Columbus, Indiana.
The Courier Journal will grow to six pages twice weekly or twelve pages weekly, adding 832 columns annually. Wednesday will be news and politics while Saturday becomes a family paper with stories, pictures, poetry, and sketches. The paper keeps its Democratic stance and pricing at one dollar per year. Henry Watterson will write editorials on daily topics.
