The Big 4 will run a special Columbus Indiana to Cincinnati Ohio round trip on August 8 for one dollar. Train leaves Columbus at 8 a.m. and returns from Cincinnati at 7 p.m. Tickets valid only for that date. Attractions include baseball League Park Cincinnati vs Louisville and local parks and gardens.
Mrs George Wellington of Edinburg died at her home yesterday at 10 45 am after a long illness. She had been ill since March 14. Funeral services will be held at the house Thursday afternoon.
Wm Monck of Jeffersonville was killed as a fast train passed through Walesboro. He was seated on the car steps and fell or was knocked off, his head crushed and brains strewn along the track. He was en route to Elwood Indiana to work. the body was moved to the morgue after Deputy Coroner Emmons attended the scene.
