Huber and Kaufman Bride Tie at Local Church

The marriage of E Huber to Mrs J Starvaria was conducted in Sandyapolis with Mrs Eutiain, a former Columbus resident and widow of L J Kaufman, as witnesses. Mr Huber, a noted local furniture maker, and the ceremony at Christaan Church was officiated by Rev Orent, with congratulations from the Swan.

Indiana iron works fire damages mill, 1200 workers affected

A fire at the Indiana Iron Works in Munem Ind caused about 10,000 dollars in damage when a boiler crushed a six inch natural gas line, gas ignited by the furnace. The mill was saved with on site apparatus and assistance. Loss is fully insured and no work stoppage expected in other departments.

Sheridan Fast Whist Team Wins County Championship

The Sheridan team defeated Noblesville by twenty three points in an April 24 match at Noblesville, taking the county championship. A return game is planned for May.
