Fire destroys Ellsworth paper mills near Havre
In Havre April 22 the paper mills at Ellsworth five miles north were totally destroyed by a midnight fire. Loss pegged at 75000 with insurance about 40000. Mills owned by American Straw Card company. top local holders include Jacob Kolsem and Crawford Fairbanks. Cause suspected sparks from a Chicago & Eastern Illinois train passed moments earlier. The plant had not operated in three years. watchmen were on duty.

The new soda fountain at M. C. Dunning ton & Co. druggists is eight feet tall with a twelve foot marble counter and a double onyx syrup cam setup. Six revolving chairs face the counter while patrons are served. pure fruit syrups and pulps are used. An invitation is extended to ladies and the attendant is ready to assist.
