Death of Samuel D Kemp Pioneer Citizen 77
Samuel B. Kemp died at his home yesterday at 11 a m after a brief stomach illness. He was 77 years old. Funeral at his late residence on Vinestraet tomorrow at 2 p m with Rev C A Haehnle officiating. Interment in Moravian cemetery. He was born January 21, 1820 in Muskingum County Ohio and lived in Indiana since 1854. He leaves seven children, six sons and one daughter. He was respected for his honest dealings and wide circle of friends.

J G Schwartzkopf awarded the contract to Thomas Hull for equipping his large block housing furniture and hardware stores with steam heat.
