Washington authorities struggle to learn about Spanish ships at Cadiz and Ferrol due to Spain’s strict naval censorship. Camara's squadron is slated for the Philippines but is believed to move westward. Maprin May 22 report says the new government boosts navy yard activity and homeland defenses. Edinburg High School graduates of 98 were honored at the Christian Church with the Edinburg Orchestra providing music. Baccalaureate services followed at the M E church with a sermon by Rev Matthey of Dayton Ohio. The event showcased the graduates and noted self funded programs.
