Republicans of the 15th precinct meet for delegates

The republicans of the 15th precinct will meet at Crump's street car barn on Monday evening March 28 1808 at 7 30 for selecting ten delegates to the city convention at the city hall in said city March 20 1808. By order Clyde Williams Committeeman.

Funeral for Miss Mary MacEtree at St Bartholemews

The funeral of Miss Mary MacEtree was held at St Bartholemews this morning at 0:30 o’clock with services by Rev Father Oster and burial at Garland Brook Cemetery. Pallbearers included John Hilger Frank Brockian Woodbry Day Noble Jsles Paul Hubbard George Brockman. She was a young lady of sweet disposition who suffered a lingering illness. A large company of sorrowing friends attended.

Pauper Burial Case Settles For Seven Thousand

The Bartholo Taew county tale recalls a buried pauper with $9,920.60 found on him. Dozens claimed kin, but the nearest was an illegitimate son from Middleport Ohio whom was later legitimized. A compromise grants young Wilson $7,000. trial set in Brown county court’s next term.

City assigns numbers to wards for house and business lots

PD. F. Doll and Bink Lehnar receive contracts to number all unnumbered residences and business houses in wards one two three five while Charley Green covers ward four. About 2000 numbers exist in the city and only about two thirds are currently posted. The aim is to have all numbers up by encampment time.
