The republicans of the 15th precinct will meet at Crump's street car barn on Monday evening March 28 1808 at 7 30 for selecting ten delegates to the city convention at the city hall in said city March 20 1808. By order Clyde Williams Committeeman.
The funeral of Miss Mary MacEtree was held at St Bartholemews this morning at 0:30 o’clock with services by Rev Father Oster and burial at Garland Brook Cemetery. Pallbearers included John Hilger Frank Brockian Woodbry Day Noble Jsles Paul Hubbard George Brockman. She was a young lady of sweet disposition who suffered a lingering illness. A large company of sorrowing friends attended.

About 2000 numbers exist in the city and only about two thirds are currently posted. The aim is to have all numbers up by encampment time.
Mr and Mrs John McCleland mark fifty years of marriage with an old fashioned dinner at their city home. They are among the county s oldest settlers and many friends extend congratulations and best wishes for more anniversaries.

Mary CuasteeN Chasteen died Saturday at midnight at the family home two miles south of the city. Funeral at 3 this afternoon, burial at Section cemetery.
The Jeffersonville depot of the United States quartermaster's department would supply material for army needs in war. Officers are ready. peacetime stores worth about one million dollars could rise twentyfold in war. The depot provides army blouses drawers shirts blankets and equipment for wagons ambulances farriers tools ranges and transport to move munitions.
