Yesterday afternoon Esquire Dennison crossed the railroad square where Dora Ogden flew a kite. A contact with a live wire dislocated his hat and shocked him. He vowed revenge and attacked the kite as a nuisance, though Ogden’s kite has caused no harm. Fehring's drug store advertises perfumes and atomizers.
Mrs ZT Sweeney left last night to join her husband Ray. ZT Sweeney has been holding meetings at Buffalo New York and from there they will go to Richmond Virginia.
The Christian Endeavor Society of the Presbyterian held a successful social for the Y M C A reading table fund. Captain Lucis led games including pillow, crokinole, carroms, and charades. A snow ball event revealed cakes, candy, and a five dollar gift with best wishes from the Social Committee.
Mrs Henry Shagsuer is very ill. Bedt Clax, previously ill with lung fever, is not as well today. Mrs Wm Hoyer shows some improvement. A large crowd was in the city. Farmers report roads improving. Scott Eizen of Attia is a well known candidate for sheriff and a good man for the job.
Curicaeo forecast notes fair conditions tonight and Sunday with warmer temperatures in the western areas on Sunday.
Miss Libbie Englebaugh travels to Edinburg to spend Sunday with her parents. Miss Mai Brevoort leaves Irvington for home. Mrs. Cal Nugent returns from Elizabethown. Fehring's drug store sells cigars. Pearson's offers three naval oranges for five cents. Miss Lula Cook leaves Taylorsville after visiting sister Mrs. Frank Toohey. Miss Myrtle Coleman returns from Indianapolis. Griser's advertises selling off mandolins guitars violins banjos and Appolo harps at bargain prices. Griser's also promotes clothing and value in Columbus on 5th Street and invites customers to visit.
