Landlord Tuttle of the St Denis hotel gains notice for organizing the arrest of Harry L Vance advance agent of the Katie Emmett Co for beating hotel bills at Greensburg and Rushville The arrest was made by Officers McCalip and Ferguson and Vance was taken to Greensburg to answer charges. An encampment finance committee plans a meeting tomorrow night at Mayor Beck s private office. Boyer waits anxiously for the suit outcome.
Levi Huffstutler George Curtis and William A Turtle faced a preliminary examination before Esquire Guthrie on charges of burning John Patterson s barn. Anderson Percifield was employed by the defendants. Prosecutor Gordon and Sol F Hines presented testimony from about a dozen witnesses.
