Mrs. James Gaylor, missing since Friday near the Grand Canyon of the Colorado, was found Saturday morning after 24 hours without food or water. She returned to Fr.aGestarr Monday night none the worse for her ordeal.

Posey county asks Gibson for help as Menzies from Mt Vernon fills his roster with 21 volunteers in ten hours to join in Indianapolis.
In Grant County near Marion Indiana Thomas and Lydia Baldwin are near their diamond wedding milestone having passed 150 years of life together. They settled the area and own land once part of Fairmount. Andrew Jackson signed the original land patents now kept by S G Baldwin. In Connersville John Brown hunter in Falmouth was shot by Wilbur Piper who mistook Browns movement for a skunk. Browns condition is dire and Piper is distraught.

In Tipton Indiana 23 recruits mustered for Company I 160th Indiana by Sgt Allen Gifford sixty volunteered and started for Tampa. Jeffersonville Indiana Merritt Andrews and Martha Vancampen were secretly married in March and the news has just become public.
WatERloo Ind June 28 Twenty eight recruits mustered into service last Friday have left for Port Tampa to join Company 157th Indiana Tigers.
Locaxsroart Indiana June 28 Dr Nathaniel C Cogill dies at 208 Sycamore Street from a mistaken deadly poison dose. Medical notes indicate accidental poisoning led to his death at home. Authorities investigate the incident as a fatal mishap with medical oversight.
