Report from Consul Rogers at Chefoo lists killed and wounded in the June 25 relief expedition. In Mishawaka Indiana eight years ago a motherless girl named Barker was placed with a Kansas banker and his wife who adopted her after proper papers. The banker died leaving about ninety thousand dollars to his widow and the girl. After further deaths and moves the adopted daughter vanished and is now about nineteen. Local authorities are trying to locate her.
