Chester Bellows was hanged in Cuannes Crrr Ia for murder of his niece Alice Waterman. The execution at 10 46 am followed his pleas Please don't and his claim of innocence. He died eight minutes after the trap but only wounded himself previously. He had lived in Minneapolis before moving to the Waterman home near town.
