Father’s deed ends in leap from bridge with four children
St Paul authorities believe William Rosenfield threw his four children ages 24 to 7 from the Marshall avenue bridge into the Mississippi River and then jumped after them. No bodies recovered. Rosenfield had separated from his wife who had taken three children to Minneapolis. He later took the 1 year old and fled with her. Evidence ties him to the center of the 200 foot bridge where the tragedy occurred.
