Passenger Train Robbery Near Little Rock Reported
A south bound St Louis Iron Mountain and Southern passenger train was held up near Migginson north of Little Rock at 1 am by a Negro bandit with confederates. Passengers were demanded valuables while one coach was confined and frightened. The Sheriff of White County pursued the bandit and officers said they would overtake the fugitive.

Former Ohio Soldier Drowned near Soldiers' Home
Conrad Gunther formerly of Company K 47th Ohio Infantry and a member of the soldiers' home was found dead in a stream about a mile from the home. He was 57, had arrived at the home April 14, disappeared days later, and was identified by his wife in Cincinnati. The coroner ruled accidental drowning.
