Arthur F. Marsh of Allegan, former inspector general and ex chairman of the Republican state central committee, was convicted of feloniously conspiring with official associates to defraud Michigan. The case involved $65,000 in military clothing and equipment, sold for $10,500, shipped to Chicago, then to Kalamazoo, and repurchased by the state for about $40,000.
