Mt Pleasant Tennessee June 16 a baby girl about ten to twelve days old was found in a basket tied to the Chambers family gate on Washington Avenue. A bottle of warm milk and fresh clothes accompanied the infant. A tall Negro man asked for the Gates family yesterday and then left. no Gates in Mt Pleasant. Doctors say the child is healthy and will receive care from the Chambers.
