German Peace Delegation votes to reject revised treaty
Weimar correspondent reports the German peace delegation unanimously resolved to reject the revised peace treaty and submitted the report to the German cabinet. Chancellor Scheidemann expressed regret that allies rejected the proposal for a neutral court of arbitration. A Berlin Vossische Zeitung note says plans discussed for Ebert and cabinet to resign and disband the national assembly, leaving Germany to absolute monarchy. Peace conditions were forced on us, but we must admit the entente's charges against our former rulers and sign the treaty.
