Washington Aug 14 Charges against Collector R. B. Sharp of the Tennessee district were dismissed after Revenue Agent R. S. Sams found the charges unsupported. Deputy C. M. Joseph, who filed them, was suspended and likely to resign. The Cascade distillery seizure case loomed as Sharp had seized half a million gallons of whisky, valued over a million dollars, to enforce taxes.
