Cedar City residents at a public hearing voiced objections to some curb and gutter and street oiling requirements in the Ridge Road Special Improvement District while backing sewer and water line installation. A preliminary Lower Bullock dam site report favored its suitability for a storage reservoir serving Cedar City and surrounding areas with a June 1 final report. A proposed budget indicated revenue around 31.8 million with operating needs exceeding income by 400 thousand, prompting a review for potential cuts or a tax levy increase.
