Robbery Suspect Captured After Escape in Car

John Richards tracked Carl Rennaker to Montpelier where he captured him. Rennaker escaped from the wagon near Pegram before reaching Border. Marshal Casey Collett pursued Rennaker Wednesday but had not returned or reported progress. The robbery took $9 in cash and a $21.45 check from John Richards' purse during a night break‑in at his Border home.

Antone Quadros returns from Galway with family due to Mrs. Quadros illness. He has released a fruit farm and enjoys Cokeville, where friends recall his ranch and livestock interests. He plans to stay briefly before resuming work.

County Central Committee Meets in Kemmerer

In Kemmerer last Saturday the County Central Committee met with six members and five proxies from fifty precincts. Joe Gudmondson was re elected chairman and J W Samson named state committeeman. Resolutions criticized the Democratic government. The directorate included McDoual Sneddon Ferrie May Sammon Winkleman Hale Baegle Wilson. Of 50 precincts 29 elected committeemen leaving 21 vacancies filled. N W Reynolds named for Stoner precinct H S Tompson resigned. L W Nelson named in his place. John Reed named at Sage.

Tragic Train Fatality Near Pixley Strikes Kemmerer Man

Fred Molinar of Kemmerer was struck by a freight train while duck hunting near Pixley. The engine severly crushed his skull as he slept on the track. companion Joe Motto nearby. He died after transport to Miners Hospital and an operation was planned before succumbing to injuries.
