No Transport Officer For Coffs Harbour
Chamber of Commerce members learned that the Transport Department will not establish a road transport office at Coffs Harbour citing insufficient local work. The decision follows a request from the Chamber after police workload delays. The matter will be reviewed at the next chamber meeting. Also, Mr and Mrs Mick Barbour and family sold their farm and left the district while Mr and Mrs Searle visited Bonville from Newcastle.
