Successful Upper O Carnival Draws Large Crowd
The ladies handicap crowned Fay Lickiss of Coramba champion with P Wilson Coramba second and S Doak Boambee third. The event supported Miss Wilga Ide in Show Society Queen contest, with L Secomb president and G Kellett secretary treasurer. Spectacular Recreation ground setting, 300 plus attendees, ideal weather, Coffs Harbour Band provided music and a novelty parade. Stalls offered goods and eats for all.

Korora P and C Picnic Plans for December 9
At the November Korora P and C meeting the group abandoned the Christmas Tree plan and decided to hire Ryan's Bus for a basket picnic at Moonee Beach on Saturday December 9. Two book prizes were allocated per class for top pupils, with additional prizes donated by local residents. Speech Day and prize presentations will occur at the picnic. Bus departs Korora School at 9:30 am.
