RE DESTROYS LUMBER MILL AT HARRISON IDA OVERTURNED FIRE
A fire in Harrison Idaho destroyed the Bt. Joe Lumber mill last night at 11 00 o clock. Estimated property loss around 75 000 dollars with half that amount insured. Fire started in the engine room and quick action by town watchmen and departments prevented spread to nearby buildings but the mill and yard were damaged severely leaving only two thousand feet of lumber intact. The mill powered about 70000 feet of lumber daily and was largely owned by eastern stockholders with a few local investors local stockholders predominantly Indian ownership was noted.
