Mr O Dwyer thanks officials and press for a gift marking ten years with the Tungamah Council. The Tungamah Shire Council, Oct 22 1951, issued an interim order under the Town and Country Planning Act prohibiting development on Cobram Planning Scheme 1949 land. It allows permitted development on written application, with conditions, and authorizes the Council to enforce demolition or alteration if owners fail to comply. The order remains in effect until revoked by the Governor in Council.
