Indiana Defense Council urges courts to aid conscription intake

The Indiana State Council of Defense asks all superior and circuit courts to free attorneys skilled in registering men of conscript age to help register men aged 14 to 21 and 31 to 45 under a federal manpower bill. The council backs a plan to boost a fourth Liberty Loan bond distribution and supports closing Gary retail shops four evenings weekly to conserve manpower.
