Moffett a prominent Bainbridge banker who died suddenly while in Arkansas to oversee rice land investments His son in law W T Beck and son C Moffett traveled to St Louis and Bainbridge to join the funeral procession after services were held Tuesday The body was laid to rest in his childhood home in Illinois with many Coatesville residents among the attendees.
The Central National Bank of Greencastle will repeat last fall’s corn show to interest farmers in selecting better seed. The prize seed was widely distributed and yields improved. The exhibit aims to promote Putnam County corn for the Lafayette Purdue State Corn Show in January and encourage local farmers to compete.
The Hell family, headed by Donard Hell, builds a town identity in Farrell Pennsylvania with signs and billboards using Hell to promote their ice cream business.
