Danville notes span county officials and local events

In Hendricks County updates, county officers will locate in the Trotter block until a new courthouse is built. The Everett Sandy trial was rescheduled for April 3. A Roosevelt club formed after a Saturday meeting in Enloe & Patterson's law office. Funeral attendance included Roy Randolph of Mitchell Indiana for Mrs Bert Randolph. Ruth Kendal returned from Advance to stay with her grandparents. Mrs Earl Overman of Winchester visited Henry Curtis's family. Lem Baughman sold property on West Main and will move to Connersville for a new job. Lula Pichard, Danville High School German and Latin teacher, missed classes. sister filled in. John F Chapman joined J J Trotter in a hardware business at North Salem. Three elderly Danville residents died recently Rowlan Clark, Sarah Dethridge and Uncle Lewis Brown. Miss Sarah Caylor of Danville, member of Coatesville Banner Rebekah lodge, had tumor surgery in Indianapolis. recovering well. An excellent debate by PH S S Debate Society favored the negative on equal suffrage for women in Cos. Adleriative Julius Mars and Emerson Barker led, with Lesbur McClain and Kennebl Togate on the negative.
