Mary E. Hurst born March 20 1853 near Putnam county grew up in the area and died January 16 1912 at age 58. She married Robt W Dorsett in 1872 and had five children Clarence and Aucil died young. After Robt W Dorsett’s death she remarried Richard Edwards in 1909 and remained devoted to family and friends. She faced a long illness with quiet fortitude and prepared funeral arrangements before passing.
