The Fillmore orchestra performed at the farmers institute in Greencastle on Wednesday. A skunk and rabbit hunt began Tuesday morning. The protracted meeting here closed Monday night with several conversions. The farmers institute held Monday was well attended and the talks were beneficial, especially the Home Influence topic by Mr. Martindale.

Tragic Train Crash Kills Clayton Man Oscar Rybolt
Oscar Rybolt 33, newly elected noble grand of Clayton I O F, was killed Monday night when struck by railroad No. 11 on the Vandalia line at Clayton. Eyewitness Lee Weesner warned him but the buggy was torn apart and the body piled on the engine pilot. Engineer Harry Davey and the fireman will testify next day. The Clayton crossing is infamous for accidents. Rybolt leaves a widow and two children.
