Grover Crews 1880 1920 Obituary Summary

Grover Crews of Morgan County near Monrovia born January 23 1880 son of Albert and Mary Crews. He joined the Christian Church at sixteen and led in Sunday school. He moved to Brazil about four years ago married Sadie Madley on September 9 1908. He and his wife joined the Methodist Episcopal Church and lived a devout Christian life. He was trusted and respected by employers and friends, a dependable worker and valued class member. He died December 20 1910 after ill health. He leaves his wife his parents one sister and three brothers and many friends who mourn his loss.
