Danish Music Club to Perform at Coatesville Methodist Church

The Danish Musical Club led by Prof. Peterson will give a program of vocal and instrumental solos readings and duets at the Methodist church in Coatesville on Thursday evening December 18. Tickets at R C Knight's store season pass 75 cents for four numbers.

Surprise Florida trip hosts greet church guests at Vaughn home

Mr and Mrs Joseph Vaughn plan to spend winter in Florida leaving Dec 16. A party of forty or more from the Christian church and Sunday school surprised them Tuesday evening. Guests brought a freezer full of ice cream and the home was lit and warmed. Neighbors may be alarmed by the commotion but the host group promises not to repeat until the Vaughns return.

Clayton Neighbors Attend Events in Indianapolis and Surroundings

Local residents visited Indianapolis for church services and social visits. The town hosted lectures, club meetings, and a live wire youth club. School activities included a birthday surprise for a teacher, a manual training addition, and basketball losses for Clayton High. Several residents hosted or visited relatives in nearby towns and cities.

Obituary of Jane Mason Parker Fisher of Amo Indiana

Jane Mason Parker Fisher of Amo Indiana died November 29 after a two week pneumonia illness at age 68 years 9 months. Born February 22 1844 in Morgan County Indiana she married Jesse Parker in May 1862 and had nine children. After divorce she married John Fisher November 22 1887 and had one daughter Carrie Bowman. he died March 27 1910. Survived by 32 grandchildren six brothers and one sister. She joined the Baptist Church January 16 1896 and lived quietly a patient Christian life despite long illness.
