Samantha Runnion’s mother Emily Rasmussen announces the BRAVE 5K at Aliso Niguel High School on January 20 to raise funds for expanding the Joyful Child Foundation’s BRAVE curriculum. The program trains teachers and parents in child safety and abuse prevention with a 10 lesson elementary school series.
Registration begins 6 30 a m for BRAVE 5K at Aliso Niguel High School 28000 Wolverine Way Aliso Viejo on January 20. Online registration 45 onsite 50 proceeds support The Joyful Child Foundation BRAVE safety education and community partnerships. A 1K run follows the 5K with a safety demonstration by Runnion and BRAVE program outreach to schools across Orange County.
