Oak Street Swimmers kick off New Year parade in Laguna Beach
Lynn Kubasek, 59, of Laguna Beach, towed a float as part of 21 swimmers celebrating New Year with the Oak Street Swimmers Floatie-Float parade on Monday. Kubasek, an open water swimmer who has crossed the Catalina and Anacapa channels, said it was a refreshing and fun start to the year and a chance to meet friends.
