Clifton Trades Day Endorsed By Lions Club In Clifton
The Lions Club endorsed Clifton's monthly trades day at their last weekly meeting, praising the event as a selection of the best goods for Clifton and the trade territory. The note highlights ongoing street improvements, caution for drivers around children, and a call for careful driving. The piece also mentions hotel expansion in Austin, the State Fair in Dallas, and a subscription drive with many readers paying up. Four Clifton Finisr College graduates join junior colleges as loyal members. Florence Gianhiser and Mildred McMillan advance to junior standing at Texas University and North Texas State Teachers College.
