Miss Maxine Stryker daughter of Mr and Mrs C C Stryker was honored with a bridal shower September 9 at Mrs W W Windham's home. Guests enjoyed punch cookies and mints as periwinkles roses and sweet peas decorated the rooms. Attending were several well known locals and the honoree's mother while plans for her September 16 marriage to Tommy Rous were shared.
