On Saturday October 20 Mr and Mrs Gus C Krueger entertained their daughter Charlene for her 14th birthday at the VFW Post Home. Family friends attended including Barry Forson Kenneth Leck John Poe and many others. Charlene received gifts and refreshments of cake and punch were served. ABC Grocery Moves to New Clifton Building
ABC Grocery and Market relocates to a red brick building at the corner of West Pecan Street and North Avenue H in Clifton. The Holloways own the business and will live in an apartment above the store. The new structure measures 90 by 32 feet with 125 feet of north side parking and expanded storage. The store features improved lighting and fresh paint, with added shelves and frozen foods to aid customers.

Trinity Lutheran Church Women of Clifton met October 8 at 7:30 p.m. with Naomi Circle as hostesses. Deaconess Lydia Becker spoke on deaconess life, slides from Milwaukee shown by Rev. Gigstad, and Grace Lutheran Sanatorium. Donations totaled 80 to charities, 100 to Clifton Sunset Home, 25 to district convention. An all day quilting was planned for Oct 24. Officers elected for 1963 include J L Standefer Jr president and W J Krueger Jr treasurer.
