Mrs. W H Pilant Dies After Short Illness at Clifton
Mrs. W H Pilant dies after a brief illness at home in Clifton. She is survived by her husband W H Pilant, three children Jewel Kermit and Mrs Andrews, and former spouse Earl Plant with Oma Mab Buller. She was a Methodist church member and funeral services were held at the First Methodist Church with burial in Clifton Cemetery.

Oscar Dittrich Dies at His Home in Coyote Community
Oscar Dittrich died at his farm home in the Coyote community Wednesday evening after several months illness. He was born September 13 1862 near Brenham Texas and died October 19 1928 at age 76. Survived by Mrs Dittrich two grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral held at the family home Thursday afternoon then burial at Clifton Cemetery. Rev Ht Baur officiated.

Lenrell Dublin won grand champion heavyweight Berkshire barrow, Kilmer Kruse sold a first prize lightweight calf for a high price, Curtis Larson earned 18 cents per pound for his prize lamb. William A. Cooksey Dies Suddenly at Home Near Clifton
William Alfred Cooksey died suddenly at his Clifton area home on October 14 after a long illness. Born in Meridian Mississippi in 1866, he married Miley Mary Catherine Warden in Temple Texas and had thirteen children. He moved to Turnerville Community in Caryell County eleven years ago and to Clifton four years ago. A short service was held at the home by Rev A B Byers, followed by Presbyterian Church services in Turnerpilliy where he had been a member for 35 years.
