Mr and Mrs E E Prescher commemorated their golden wedding at home on October 9 19M with more than 115 relatives and friends in attendance. Alvin and Ernest Prescher, the couple’s brothers, were the only ones not present on the original wedding day in Germany. A noon barbecue, church choir songs, readings by Miss Elsie Hampe, interludes by Henry Hafer and a birthday for their grandson Erich Prescher highlighted a day that blended celebration of long marriage with family milestones. The gathering included Womack and Coyote Ladies Aid members and various community friends, with Rev John Streuss offering blessings for the couple’s continued journey.
