Sam G Carlson Dies After Brief Illness at Clifton
Sam Gustav Carlson, longtime Clifton resident and farmer, died Friday afternoon October 11 at Tees Hospital after a short illness. Born September 7, 1879 in Harmony, he married Christine Therese Jsom in 1903. Survived by wife, five children, ten grandchildren, one brother Oscar B Carlson, and many relatives. funeral from Trinity Lutheran Church, interment Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. The Carlisons retired to Clifton in 1942 and his health declined in recent weeks.
