The Clemon Viertel descendants gathered September 3, 1967 at the Hamilton Youth Center for their sixth annual reunion. A basket lunch followed a 1 p.m. meal as members discussed next year’s host place and elected officers Curtis Viertel of Fort Worth as President Alva Wade of Tulia as Vice President and Helen Knudson of Cranfills Gap as Secretary Treasurer. Attendees included numerous Viertel and Knudson family members from Fort Worth Tulia Moran Waco Odessa Farwell Aspermont Clifton Needville Clifton and Clifton area communities.
