Jonesboro FFA teams took first and second in the wool and mohair judging at the Central Texas Fair on Thursday September 20. Coryell County and Bosque County 4H placed third and fourth. Top individuals were Johnny Courtney Roy Johnson and Curtis Ray from Jonesboro with Billy Wise and Freddie Garcia from Coryell and Bosque counties. Forty nine teams competed. Jack Groff of Kerrville directed the contest, the first time held for FFA and 4H here. Floyd Key Hubert Viertel and Walton Greenwade arranged the event.
